The members at Trump National love to engage in a friendly match with fellow members and their guests, and our tournaments are second to none. The Men’s Invitational is a legendary member guest event that always attracts a full field and consistently exceeds the players highest expectations. Our Member-Member is also a notorious annual event that pits two-man teams in a two-day match play event beyond compare. The Club also offers a variety of options for those who are looking to play in team competition against other local clubs.
Men’s A-TeamThe men’s A-Team is a highly competitive team in which the finest players in the club compete against other local clubs in a four-ball scratch (no handicaps) format. The team consists of twelve players, six of which stay and play at Trump National and and six players who travel to the opposing club. The reigning Club Champion serves as the captain for the team. The Spring A-Team matches begin in mid-March and usually go through the end of April. The Summer A-Team matches are played in July and August. Men's B-TeamThe men's B-Team is also a very competitive team that competes against other local clubs in a net four-ball (handicaps are used) format. Rules mandate that a player have a handicap index of no less than 4.6 and may not play with a home handicap greater than 16. The B-Team fields twelve players for a match but carries many more players as alternates throughout the year. B-Team matches begin in April and are played through September. It's a great way to enjoy camaraderie and competition on a regular basis during the season. |
