Women's Golf

One of the things that sets Trump National apart from other clubs is the tremendous involvement of our women players. Our Women’s Golf Association has a busy season of tournaments, casual golf groups and league play. 

The Women's Golf Association (WGA) is a membership organization within the Trump National Golf Club, Washington D.C. that sponsors certain tournaments, casual golf and social activities.  Membership in the WGA is a requirement for paricipation in WGA-sponsored activities at Trump National.  Some of the tournaments that the WGA sponsors are the Spring Fling in May and the Women's Invitational in late July.  Our casual golf is comprised of a 9 and 18 hole group which play on Wednesday mornings.  There is also the Nine and Dine group that plays on Thursday evenings.  Trump women have the opportunity to participate in the Home to Home program which allows women members the opportunity to play other clubs for a low fee.

Trump women also compete in The Women’s District of Columbia Golf Association (WDCGA), an organization comprised of 32 member clubs in the Washington area. Matches are held during the months of April and May. Working women can compete in the Career Women's League on Sundays.  Clubs in Maryland and Virginia participate and the format is match play.

Social activities include Mardi Gras in February, a Couples Mixer in the Summer and an end of season dinner in October.  These are open to all Trump women.  The socials are all about meeting each other and encouraging more ladies to tee it up together.

Clinics

Women only clinics are offered to beginners (Golf 101), intermediate (Golf 102) in the Spring and early Summer..  Golf 101 are offered on Thursdays.  Golf 102 are offered on Tuesdays.  Evening clinics are offered on Wednesdays at 5:00pm.  Summer and Fall clinics are for beginner and intermediate golfers and will be offered on Thursdays.  Trump women can also play 3 holes with a pro on the golf course and learn about course management, various lies, etiquettte, scoring and rules.
